COVID-19 Vaccination for Elderly in Semper Timur Touches 61 Percent

COVID-19 vaccination for elderly continues to be accelerated. In Semper Timur Urban Village, Cilincing, North Jakarta, 1,505 elderly residents have been vaccinated.

As of April 10, as many as 1,505 elderly residents of 61 percent in 11 RWs have received vaccines

Semper Timur Urban Village Head, Cahyo Hudoyo mentioned, 61 percent of total 2,483 elderly residents in the region have participated in COVID-19 vaccination.

"Based on data, there are 2,483 elderly residents in the region. As of April 10, as many as 1,505 elderly residents of 61 percent in 11 RWs have received vaccines," he conveyed, Thursday (4/15).

1,637 Elderly Residents in Kebon Pala Have Received Vaccines

In order to accelerate vaccination for elderly, his side cooperates with other elements such as Satpol PP, TNI/Police, PKK, Dasa Wisma, LMK, PPSU, and RT/RW to hold socialization at Cilincing Hospital (RSUD) and Semper Timur Urban Village Health Center (Puskesmas) to educate and encourage elderly people to participate in COVID-19 vaccination.

His side also provided transport for elderly to vaccination sites using Satpol PP and urban village operational vehicles.

"If there are only one or two elderly people, we still pick them up using motorbike. But if there are many elderly people who want to take vaccination, we use Satpol PP or Semper Timur Urban Village operational cars to pick them up," he explained.
